Henry's Charters is committed to Ocean Conservation, and supports Veterans by providing healing experiences on the ocean while fishing.

Ocean Conservation

With our staff and fleet of boats, we are able to rescue injured sea turtles, dolphins and other marine life. We work in conjunction with organizations and rehabilitation facilities to achieve the same goal.

We connect veterans through fishing outreach programs to build strength of character. Our essential task is to prevent veteran suicide.

We are able to provide healing experiences on the ocean while fishing for offshore and inshore game fish. We believe salt water therapy is the best medicine for healing.

Through Henry’s Charters unique partnership with veteran support programs, we are able to provide veterans with ways to work through PTSD, and to connect in a safe space. Each month we provide dedicated dates to take selected veterans fishing.

Dolphin Encounters

We offer dolphin educational tours around the lower Laguna Madre Bay and in the Gulf of Mexico. Come learn about the playful and intelligent bottlenose dolphins in our Laguna Madre Bay.

Fishing Charters

Henry's Charters provides you with all the rods, reels, terminal tackle, live bait, and lures. For a small fee, the crew will clean and fillet your catch. Pack some food and drinks if you want, bring your fishing licenses, and you’re ready to hunt.

CATCH AND COOK!

Book a Fishing Trip with Henry's Charters and enjoy the benefits of taking your fresh catch to one of the locally owned restaurants. Henry's Charter's will clean your fish, and participating restaurants (for a small fee) will prepare and Cook Your Catch!

Private Off Shore Fishing

You'll embark on your deep sea fishing charter on a restored 30’ center console powered by twin 300 HP Mercury Verado engines. It’s got a full onboard navigation system and can accommodate up to 6 guests. It features a private toilet & an ice-box & is rigged with a livewell.

Private Bay Fishing

For a relaxing and fun bay fishing trip in southern waters, go to Henry’s Charters. Visit South Padre Island in Texas and join Captain Henry Rodriguez in exploring many spots rich with fish.

Enjoy a South Texas coastal wildlife experience like no other! We visit some of the most pristine habitats along the beautiful Lower Laguna Madre, that are cared for by local leaders in conservation. Enjoy all this aboard a comfortable and spacious 26-passenger shuttle bus! Captain Henry takes the wheel, and an on-board biologist will interpret the habitats and wildlife that we encounter along the way.

Nuevo Progreso Mexico Bus Tour

Join us for a fun day in Nuevo Progreso, Mexico!
Boarding location, South Padre Island visitors center.
321 Padre Blvd, South Padre Island, TX 78597.
Departures 9:15 am and returns 3:45 pm.
Bus will drop you off on the U.S . side, and Mexico is just a short walk away.
